Season 2019 (and 800k) is a write off due to injury for Hannebery.
Just like 2017 and 2018.
How anyone thinks a 29 year old is going to suddenly return to 800k/AA form after 3 years ruined by injury is beyond me.
Everything about the Hannebery deal from day one has stunk to high hell.
If you think he won't play a game this season and still earn $800k, well, no more needs to be said really!!!!!
All the best to you!!!!!
I didn’t say he wasn’t going to play, just that this season is a write off.
Best case scenario is he’s in the seniors by mid year, with no preseason and coming of years of playing injured, I’m not thinking he’s going to be in AA form!
As knobled as he was, his last game was AA standard and that was a Final.
It's a bit of mean question, but who pays for all the rehab and surgery required by an injured star?
If a player is getting 500K to play, but can't play for the whole season due to needing treatment that includes lengthy rehab treatments, specialists and micro-management, surgery etc., can we take a bit of that player's salary to pay?
Who pays?
Given that there is a 'Salary Cap', are the funds spent somehow accounted for an equalized across teams?

Im sorry LL but you cant keep saying this and not expect to get pulled up
There was NOTHING about the swans last game that DH played in that was AA - 30 points for the game is Essendon rnd1 2019 putrid...
And the swans were putrid against GWS ( who by the way had lost their previous matches prior to finals and lost easily the following week)
If you had watched the game you would be saying something very different - because being a bit less putrid than the rest of your putrid team mates does not get you anywhere near AA

I do not think he was AA based on the game but he was definitely in the best as your own research shows. And he was playing injured with no training. Buddy on the other hand was hopeless.
Aliir who you said was putrid was actually voted 2nd best by the Swans supporters on bigfooty so I think he deserved his 6 out of 10.
Banger Harvey was written off by a minority group of jelly bellies in 2001 and 2002 when he was playing injured.
I am interested to know whether the jelly bellies against Banger are the same ones anti Dan now.
Dan is not Banger but he is the best performed player we have on our list even if it has not been in Saints colours.
Seriously - I said Swans were putrid
Alir - who was beaten on the day - scored 6 on the 1-10 scale
DH did not have an AA day
Trying to find positives in a team that scored 30 points you have to overlook the glaring problems and grab hold of anything
So yes I did watch the game
And as good as gws looked on the day they were shot and got beaten the week after
Oh and as for no training DH played the two weeks before and his form was poor as well

Was that before or after the coach said Hannebery needs to be “rebuilt”
With the greatest respect and pardon the metaphor, you are trying to put lipstick on a pig IMO.

Only 4?
Completely baseless, but had someone put a conspiracy theory to me that Hanners might be in very good condition by the time he is available to play. Injury may not be too bad
