seniors extended bench includes Clark, Paton, Joyce, Long, White.
Well, look at the extended bench above- No Long, he's actually in the starting 18 in the pocket.
I wonder if that means he's definitely playing VFL.
They can only remove guys from the big bench for final 22?

It's a strong bench
Needs to be with 9 players sitting on it.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

"The Saints have added three talented youngsters to the squad for Sunday’s Round 3 clash in the west.
Classy midfielder Hunter Clark, emerging defender Darragh Joyce, and talented forward Ben Long will board the flight to Perth, as the Saints look to start the season with three straight wins."
Watched the first three quarters.
Longer, rucking against Jordon Sweet and Gardner was dominant and could basically knock it wherever he liked but our centrebounce set up of Langlands, Armo and Seccull, occasionally relieved by Long and Tahana just couldn’t take it away.
Footscray dominated around the ground with strong marking and skills in a strong and at times tricky wind. Lipinsky, Roarke Smith and Bailey Williams dominated.
For us Long and Young in patches showed pace and class. Phillips and Marsh were solid although the latter still looked short of a few gallops.

Did anyone put their hand up for selection? Doesn't seem like it based purely on stats but curious if anyone saw the game.
I went, I would say that Long and Longer put their hands up.
