Crowd v Crows
28k. Great effort against an interstate side. Supporters are coming back after the super start to the season. Surely the club made some good money with that number after the new stadium deal. When we turn into a top 8 side again (hopefully this year), things are going to vastly improve financially for the Saints.

I am serious and it’s a fair question given the nature of all your posts. I think many others on here would agree.

Re: Crowd v Crows
I'm just generally positive and actually despise marketing bulls***. I would rather eat horse s*** than work in that field. I also like to defend the club against over the top BS whether that is from the media or posters on here.
Being negative and cynical about everything isn't a good way to go about things. That transcends all boundaries of life, especially following the Saints.

I prefer realism personally.
The crowd wasn’t even 30K so it was a fair crowd but not great and definitely not worth beginning a thread over.

Well, I did as do others. Don't like the thread, don't involve yourself. We would have got 20k to that game last year. Things are looking up.

If you don’t like your posts to be challenged, don’t post. It’s a public forum so I’ll get involved in whatever discussion I choose.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Sun 28 Apr 2019 5:58pm Don't like the thread, don't involve yourself. We would have got 20k to that game last year.

Ok legend. Don't like the thread, don't involve yourself. Pretty bloody simple actually. Do you go watch a movie you don't want to see?
These sort of posts are such a waste.

Re: Crowd v Crows
it felt like more than 28k at the ground. Ok for an interstate game.
I do wont to point out something. The game was a TWILIGHT match. NOT AN AFTERNOON ONE.
I HATE HATE HATE twilight games (like nearly everyone I know) Completely stuffs your plans for both the Day and the Night. EG you need to be finished what you are doing during the day by 2pm latest to get ready to go to the game. If you are going out after the game plan for something after 8-9pm (assuming you are going straight there) and have eaten some of the overpriced rubbish at the ground.
Afternoon Games (1 or 2pm) only take up the afternoon and leave the night free. Night games take up the night leaving the day free. Twilight leaves only the brunch spot open. I just dont see too many footy fans into Brunch.
So the slot is left to those with no other social commitments.
Added to the complexity of ensuring your total day is free from other commitments, take along your kids. They are an absolute delight to have at the ground during feeding time. How many $6.50 buckets of chips can you feed them?
Yes I went only because I didnt have other plans for either the day or night. If I had any plans on Saturday (which would be minimum 9/10 weeks) wouldnt have gone and just watched it on TV.
The Twilight games are MADE FOR TV. Therefore no one should complain when no one turns up.
I wont be going to another Twilight game anytime soon.
