Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
seems to have gone under the radar, but all 3 still havent signed.
Billings in our top 3 or 4, Roma probably top 7 or 8 and Dunstan really hitting his straps. Should be be concerned?

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
I wouldn't care if those 3 went elsewhere.
They would be a great loss for us, enormous, but if the stupid admin insists on keeping Mr 33% then I don't bloody blame them
if they walk.

I don't understand this. Why? Then for what or who? Finally being played in a position that suits him and offers the most value for the club. Again, why? And to what end?

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Nope. Players are uncontracted at every club and I suspect they are working on contracts for these boys as we speak. We have done a very good job at retaining who we have wanted for 5 years now. Don't see it changing.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Yeah right. So we can get 2 average players for him. One that gets half his possessions and the other one who will be stuck at Sandy. Really progressive that is.

Billings is so overrated. Sure he is still a boy but he really lacks effort.. He may be OK when he is 30...roma a must keep. Nearly our best prospect by a mile

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Who are IYO the 6 or 7 you would rate better than Roma?
Billings, Gresham, Carslile, Steven, struggling after those guys. Maybe Steele & Ross?
20 games into his career and he’s close to our most important player.

Could be in our top four in the b&f this year though.

RoMa is in our top 5. He is our next finals side no 1 ruck.
Will be close to the comps best ruck in a couple of years too.

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
He's doing well Ted, and I wouldn't argue whether he is 7, 5 or fourth as he is our best performed big man this year.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Sun 09 Jun 2019 10:56pm RoMa is in our top 5. He is our next finals side no 1 ruck.

Interesting though champion data rank him 22th best ruckman atm, but I dont know the criteria, but it's more than just taps

He might be down the order a bit I'm assuming because he doesn't get massive numbers in regards to hitouts.

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Roma to be our 1st priority in signing with a long term contract.
Billings no more than 2 years if that so over rated at just not tough enough will never be an A grade player.
Really not sure why such a hype about him.

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Laurie, who has overrated Billings? Expectation has always been high but he's not a bust. Yep, Dunstan is tougher but skills are below par, as with Ross, even Steele. Mav Weller was tougher, thank god he's gone!
If Billings ends up being our 11th best player in a couple of years, I'm pretty happy that we will have a very very good top 10.

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Billings has always promised but only this year playing better footy however not consistent .
Does go missing in big games.
So we give him another couple of years to be in our top 11 in a very ordinary side we have at present.

Re: Contracts for Billings, Roma, Dunstan
Yep, cannot see why an ordinary side would get rid of one of its better 2019 performers. I would have thought that player would be the type to keep. Plenty of other soil there to turn over.
