Hannebery's game
Did the Tigers target him as a danger guy?
His output was down a bit.
He got 20 disposals maybe?

Re: Hannebery's game
2nd game back. Always the hardest.
He was pretty good yesterday but also a bit rusty. Geez he runs bloody hard though, it's no wonder he gets the footy so much and is involved a lot. I think we forget how good a player he was and still could be.
s*** I'm glad we have him in the midfield for the next 4-5 years! He is a real pro and onfield leader, it showed a couple of times yesterday.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Hannebery's game
Thought it was worse than his first (which I didn’t overly rate) as he seemed to make a lot of poor decisions resulting in turning the ball over a number of times. But he wasn’t alone in that department.
Second game back is usually harder than the first, so let’s hope he improves from here and we get our $4M worth.

All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

Just watched AR presser, Richo praised DH for leadership and getting back to support mates, didn't result in possies for him but he 'got in the way' (shepherding/blocking I suppose)

Can't expect miracles. You can see the spirit is willing and mind sharp but body not in sync yet. Same with Carslisle - takes a while to come back from what he has gone through (is going through?).

Re: Hannebery's game
On the TV coverage they highlighted his running power and ability to track back in support then spread and offer an option when the ball is turned over.
I’ve seen enough to know he hasn’t forgotten how to be a gun footballer, it’s all about the body holding out now.
Would love to see him make it to then end of the year unscathed.
Dinny from the AFL tweeted today something along the lines of “Hannebery could be anything between St Kildas best player and completely broken down”, and I thought it was spot on.

Re: Hannebery's game
He’d be still learning where to run and who does what with ball in hand, he’ll get better the more he plays.
He looks like he’s running unrestricted and his skills will only get better.
