Webster
Has been out since May 11 with the plate issue in his hand
Initially said to be a 2-3 week issue but now 2 months and counting
Is it worth even bringing him back in or should we just put him on ice with all the others

Re: Webster
Cho aint gonna play White - doesnt like him let alone aknowledge him
White's mum is apparently pushy and he's getting back her by ignoring the boy
that's how s*** rolls down at RSEA apparently
be different if he went to Xavier, then the network kicks in and overrides the coach
Not only would he get a game, but in 2 years he'd be working in HQ 3 below Gil, and 2 below Simon

Maybe the problem started in his hand but then he morphed into Sammy Hamill??

Re: Webster
So what if his mum is pushy.
We are supposed to be a meritocracy and the kid can clearly pay so give him a run at it ffs.
This is the same sort of political crap that saw Longer overtake Hickey and Acres not being given a crack at the midfield.
What the f*** goes on down there?

Re: Webster
Seems to be a lot of back injuries at our club - is that because we have too few carrying the on-field load?

Re: Webster
Weve really missed him, his effort and output are sometimes underrated.
No doubt his, Robbos, Gearys and Carlisle's absence has affected our ability to effectively rebound.
But yes i think no rush with him.

Think it is still listed hand on the AFL injury reports

Re: Webster
Tough player, has good attributes as a defender, but is injury prone and can turn the ball over with poor decisions or skill errors
Right deal, I’d trade him
He’d be one on 10 I would trade for the right price

Only problem I have is that our recruiting staff would stuff up the pick we get by picking another failure

Re: Webster
How many games has Webster played?
And we have been a poor side throughout that time
Webster is not the answer
He and others are the problem
Hence we have been a bottom Club for as long as we have been

Nothing wrong with his footskills.derby Street wrote: ↑Mon 08 Jul 2019 8:22pmOnly problem I have is that our recruiting staff would stuff up the pick we get by picking another failure
He's the one that takes responsibility for that risky kick that opens up the ground rather than the safe kick down the line to a contest and another stoppage. High risk high reward, but I like seeing us take the game on.

Re: Webster
I’ve seen Webster turn over 25m kick ins on multiple occasions
He can hit some really difficult passes, and make some awful changers. He looks a good kick, as many lefties do because the get a bit more time, but I can tell you, he is a turn over merchant!

Re: Webster
I would agree Jimmy is a better kick than Dan McK and Geary, not a high bar there!
On par with Sav, who is actually a beautiful kick, but his long bomb predictably means he actually rarely passes the ball. A better version but similar situation with Newnes.
Jimmy can really nail a difficult pass, and also miss a simple pass. He is not reliable.

Re: Webster
Should be played as a wingman. Want his spearing kick into forward 50 not out of it.
