Re: the AFL rankings
You couldn’t hold much store on these rankings.
Last year Melbourne was ranked as the best list in the AFL and after a poor year they are thirteenth even though there has not been many changes in their list.

Re: the AFL rankings
It's a complete crock. Personally - I think we're an 8th to 12th team so, that kind of fits. But - it's based on what? A prediction. I fail to see how Essendon can be 9th overall - they're guns are all injured and haven't done a pre-season. Today Bellchambers goes down. The Fireman wrote: ↑Tue 11 Feb 2020 3:19pm Doesn't really instill a heap of confidence.

The weirdest one is Richmond. In 2019 - they had them ranked 3rd (https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/11/28/ ... -rankings/). So - after comfortably winning the flag last season ... they've dropped to 7th in 2020. What? In what parallel universe is that making sense? You can't blame it on Rance retiring - he played an hour of footy in all of 2019. Has Butler coming to us really dented their Premiership defence chances so much so that they'll just scrape into the 8 this season? Pffft.
Champion Data clearly has a meth problem.

Re: the AFLM rankings
People may have thought the rankings were for the AFLW and avoided thread as I would ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
