Hill has not played well since going down in the Richmond game.

At the time it seemed serious.

Watching on TV is hopeless to tell what is actually happening but I am guessing Hill is playing on injured.

Hill seems to be of the mindset that he can just be an outside runner getting the pill and running in that silky style of his and hitting dinks to chests and nothing more.

Ratten needs to explain to him that he needs to do more when we're in the muck.

This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Soccers the ball off the ground when he needs to put his head over it.
Looked very soft at the contest.

I have been a big fan but he’s been underwhelming since Ryder has been out of the team. Is his form linked to his cousin being dropped?

People calling for Lonie, Geary & Ross to be dropped should have a look at our highest paid recruit.
Ross and Geary need to be dropped. Bit it probably won't happen. They f*** up the momentum of our ball movement. Time and time again. They don't position themselves to move the ball, they are lead into the play by their opponents. When they get it, it is usually under pressure cause they have the aerobic ability to be there but they are scrappers and butchers. We need to move on from this. It's infectious, demoralizing and completely predictable. Pressure them and you're a shoe in for a turn over.

Being an outside runner for St.Kilda yesterday meant all you did was run back and forward between turnovers. Hill got bashed up off the ball all day. He ran back and forward for a half, then gave up running and tried to avoid the attention. He got let down by ball butchers and the. gave up. Not a leader and not that good in traffic. But I'd drop the other 2 first.
Pretty much it in a nutshell. Demoralising

That's a very good point. If that's the case then let's not get too worked up about Hill just yet.

Fremantle know intimately the strengths and weaknesses of Hill.
They knew exactly how to stop him like no other would.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

But will every other club now not realize how to stop him also?
I can't believe after 8 years of senior football that all your strengths and weaknesses wouldn't be well known to everyone.

I hope they get copies of the Herald Sun in Queensland because if they have not said all of this in house they need to know this is being shouted outside their 'bubble'.

'Bubble' being an description of their leads, the bigger it gets the more likely it is to burst.

Maybe we can chuck him in the Ben Long role for a few weeks, see if he can get a few kicks.

Can he be taught how to take screamers and put fear into forwards in such a short time. And spell defence. Let the Maserati purr along waiting for the autobahn to open up- we have hi-luxes for the 4 wheel driving off half back.
