What sort of game are you expecting tonight?
I've anticipated this game so long, it feels like a final.
Do you expect a low scoring slug fest? Or a fast running shoot out?

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: What sort of game are you expecting tonight?
The way we have been playing we could win or lose by 50 points.
Still disappointed Ratts didn't take the opportunity to drop 2 or 3 big underperforming names to set a standard for the effort that is expected.
There should have been "consequences" for last week's fade out.

I agree Enrico, was expecting more changes especially after Simon Lethlean told Fox Footy last week that this was on the cards.Enrico_Misso wrote: ↑Mon 20 Jul 2020 2:43pm The way we have been playing we could win or lose by 50 points.

On reflection, I think the selectors may have concluded that the fade-out against Freo was an aberration and that following a "brutal review" between the players and coaches it was best to stick with what has been a winning combination.
That said, I expect that if the team fails to get the points tonight and plays poorly there will be an overhaul of the lineup against Port next Saturday.

Re: What sort of game are you expecting tonight?
I imagine the Crows will want a scrap to begin with. They don't want us on a quick break so we can prove whether we've learnt anything.
If the game is low scoring and close at half time then the Crows have achieved what they needed to.
Part of me hopes that as well & then hopes we can blow the game apart in the 2nd half and win in a canter. If only to prove we can finish games and finish teams.

Re: What sort of game are you expecting tonight?
This should be the type of game that shows we can bury inferior opposition. I can't remember the last time we truly went on with it and really flogged a team. In the last 6 or so years a win has been precious enough. If we are to be a real contender we need to win these types of games by a lot....

Either win by 15 goals or be outplayed all night only to comeback and fail at the end by 17 odd points

Its 2,000kms to Noosa, we have a full tank of gas, half a mid field pack, its dark and cold in Adelaide and we are wearing the away strip. Hit it. (We are on a mission).

Not optimistic about this game.
I think it will be a grim night.

Four quarters like the first quarter last week. Saints to kick 28 goals!

Impossible to have any faith in this mob.

The best thing about waiting 9 days to watch St Kilda again is that it was 9 days. The worst thing is it's Monday night already!

i'm just hoping Ratts can respond this time. A team dominates..the other coach adjusts......time for our coach to strut his stuff.

Still working out the length of the bus ride from the airport to the ground, will get back to you...

Re: What sort of game are you expecting tonight?
Saints are 1.28 favourites and Adelaide $3.75.
I would like to be this confident but unfortunately history has made me most pessimistic about the result.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the last time we beat Adelaide in rAdelaide was in 2009?

Re: What sort of game are you expecting tonight?
We don't have a good record with umps interstate...Hard to believe we will be allowed to win considering most/all the 50/50s will not go our way
