When it's all done, great comeback by the Tigers. I stand corrected, but it was a 52 point turnaround from late in the second quarter. I thought when the Cats were on their bikes early the match was theirs to lose. They did, but to a superior team.

Martin saved the game for Richmond in the first half.
Then he won it for them in the second half.

Geelong would have won easily apart from Dusty.

I used to think that Carey was the best I've seen: a one-man match winner.

But Martin is even more amazing. He'd be a threat if he was the only player on the field against 18.

Richmond looked done and dusted half way through the second quarter. Dustin carried his team home on his back. What a star.

If Norm goes to anyone else - Dusty will be robbed!

Richmond - Dusty = Spuds

Well, he got it, and deservedly so.

I'm not sure that all the other Richmond players are spuds. Edwards, Bolton and Houli can play a bit. And I don't mind Pickett either.

His first two goals both kicked when Tigers most needed it.

He is a genuine matchturner and not just matchwinner.

The Saints at present just do not have a player who by themselves can turn the course of a game., and certainly no one close to Dusty's ability.

As good as this Richmond Team is with Dusty they would not have been the monster team that they have been without him.

Not yet, but very soon I hope.

An insipid and gormless second half from them.

Well it wasn't all bad despite Richmond winning again.

Dusty played one of the all time great games.
Geelong lost.
Dangerfield didn't get a premiership medallion.
The little masturbater didn't get a farewell present.
Duckhead didn't get to make a victory speech.
And that surly prick Chris Scott will have to stew and squirm and have his finals record mocked.

fugazi: "....best finals player of all time."

I'm pretty tempted to go for best player of all time. Or, at least, best I've ever seen: along with Hudson, Carey, GA senior and Plugger. But I'm inclined to think that he's at the top of that group. I don't know if any of them could have done what he did tonight.
