But Martin is even more amazing. He'd be a threat if he was the only player on the field against 18.

Richmond looked done and dusted half way through the second quarter. Dustin carried his team home on his back. What a star.
I used to think Voss was probably the best mid sized player I’d seen but geez.....think Martin has it and just steps up constantly in big games like champions do

Then he won it for them in the second half.

Geelong would have won easily apart from Dusty.
None of the other dynasty teams relied so heavily on the genius of one player.
Richmond are a good team but nowhere near a Hawthorn, Brisbane or Geelong dynasty side...except for that one freak

Yep. But there is so much linger trauma from that game. The non-selection of Max Hudghton. The Hawkins "goal". The free kick that should have been played to Schneider. Multiple gettable shots at goal that were missed . Luke Ball being kept on the bench in the last quarter.

The whole thing was such a bummer.

4 times he did the near impossible.....best finals player of all time.

(Good thing we over ruled trading for him)
The complete footballer hard, skilful & just makes things happen & execute when the team needs it , no fanfare no look at me no faking just doing what he's paid to do & IMO has owned it tonight

Probably worth mentioning that Hardwick's a pretty decent coach, too.

A lot of Geelong players were found wanting in that game, especially Dangerfield.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

If I were AFL I would call a meeting with the AFLPA immediately to settle the salary cap and player list numbers.
If Dangerfield does not sign then he would be charged for high contact, high impact and grand final double penalty.

Melbourne had picks 1 and 2.
Richmond had pick 3 so took Martin

We could have got him at the end of 2013.

It would be nice.

Need 7 consecutive premierships to make up for all the pain we have suffered over the years. 1 just won't cut it now.

I would take it as a start!!!!

Temas that win seem to attract good players and so the cycle continues.

P. Dangerfield - no case to answer
If Dangerfield gets rubbed out for that it’s a f****** joke.

He punched the ball toward a teammate and had no time to drop his arm.

I personally cannot stand Dangerfield and his team and glad they lost, but that was accidental in play and did nothing wrong in my opinion.

I thought Long was stiff but his intention was clearly the man where Dangerfield was at the ball.
