Who said that?SaintPelican66 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Oct 2020 1:10pmIs that from ITK's that said we were getting Josh Kelly and Jy Caldwell?
Kelly was a pipedream and Caldwell was never a certainty. Essendon is paying him ridiculous money for an unproven 11 gamer.

Re: De Goey
A guy like De Goey is going to polarise opinion but he would make a HUGE difference to us, giving us more of a dynamic look both mid and forward 50.
I've seen a lot of him live & he can turn a game on its head...not too many of those around!

That would be construction works at Moorabbin.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

I would like to have Dusty and De Goey playing for my team BUT I hate dealing with the Devil's evil.

Re: De Goey
The money that DeGoey wants is obscene considering his output. He's rarely in the midfield, playing mostly as a forward pocket. He's had one really good season, and he's a bag of trouble. Sometimes he does the incredible.....yep.....sometimes. People get caught up with the hype over players like him, but if you're going to cough up outrageous money, you want a solid citizen who cranks out consistent high level performances (like Jack Steele has done this year) and you're not constantly worrying what the hell they're doing off the field.
Jordan deGoey............no thanks!

Re: De Goey
Billings and 1st rounders for De Goey. Might need a little more to sweeten deal...
We played the s*** bloke card with Martin and missed out.
Genuine match winner which we lack. Play on the edge Saints

Collingwood superstar Jordan De Goey is set to re-sign with the Magpies for two more years.
The Magpies are close to finalising a deal that will tie the matchwinner to the club until the end of 2022, when he will become a free agent.
