Winner+Margin over Cats
I'm not going public with *my* prediction.
You guys n girls can put forward your best guesses.
You guys n girls can put forward your best guesses.
2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn

Re: Winner+Margin over Cats
Seeing as how Jones is out...
And we lost last yr by 59, (34 to 93)
And we've been impotent against the Imjectors+Power...
A 10 goal loss is certainly on the cards.
I don't see how we stop Cameron+Hawkins.
No disrespect to the Dynamic Duo of Howard n Wilkie, but geezus the Cats F50 entries will be like a hailstorm

I hate tipping against the Saints & only do when I can't see even in my wildest dreams any possibility of us even being competitive so Saints by a point

Cats by 149 points, since the tigers beat us by 86 and the cats beat them by 63.
its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!

No, as Saints we have to stay Biblical.
11 represents, chaos, disorder and death. (Sorry Captian S)
I think we'll win by 17.
In the Bible the number 17 symbolizes "overcoming the enemy" and "complete victory."
Jesus Christ gained a complete victory over death and the grave when God resurrected him near sunset on Nisan 17 (Saturday, April 8, 30 A.D.).
We may not be sponsored by Nissan, but we will by 17.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: Winner+Margin over Cats
1. Stop ball going into Cats fwd 50, that makes Cameron, Hawkins and the other person that has dubious person issues less dangerous.
2. Ask for a salary cap audit. How are all those superstars possibly afforded. Several fringe players must be doing it for free.
3. Take chances.
4. Bounce of the ball, umpiring and arc all go our way.
5. Sinclair, completely out of character puts Smith out of the game at first bounce. Sweet payback for past humiliation.
6. Hope Esava and Rhys squabble in rooms and upset the Cats vibe.
7. Hope they are really mourning Frank C and really can't get up for it.
8. Chris Scott tries some bizarre unworkable tactics just to see what might happen, e.g. Hawkins to full back on a leading King.
9. Our forwards make life bearable for Ben. Stewart and Henderson are licking their lips, but maybe one of our men can just ruffle them.
10. Joyce plays the game of his life.
So, as the real estate industry says, with a high degree of probability + or - about 1 - 75 points either way.

This is going to be a monumental hiding.

It seems so...
But maybe Lonie or Butler can have their day in the sun. (Under the roof at night)

IMO Lonie is a one trick pony can't tackle can't mark above his head is slow & one sided so good luck with that Butler at least can take a grab & is quick.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Thu 13 May 2021 8:01pmIt seems so...

I thought he was OK in first final. Intelligent. Against Richmond nowhere, but he wasn’t the only one.bangaulegend wrote: ↑Thu 13 May 2021 8:15pmIMO Lonie is a one trick pony can't tackle can't mark above his head is slow & one sided so good luck with that Butler at least can take a grab & is quick.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Thu 13 May 2021 8:01pmIt seems so...

Imo too 1 dimensional he is smart & a good ball user but as stated above & he misses a lot of goals just not the answer just shows me how good our depth isshanegrambeau wrote: ↑Thu 13 May 2021 8:28pmI thought he was OK in first final. Something out of wack there. JC was 33 when he was murdered by the f****** Romans at the behest of the Jews, not 30.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Thu 13 May 2021 5:19pmNo, as Saints we have to stay Biblical.

No body is giving the players a chance.
If I was Ratts I'd be telling the players the same thing.
It's time to see how much care-factor the players have.

Speaking of care factor, anyone else notice paddy bang his first on the jumper after his goal last week? That's a gesture that sadly I hadn't seen for so long had almost forgotten what it means.

Re: Winner+Margin over Cats
I've been dreading this game all year, and have had this worry that yet another horrible result will cause misery.
Expecting 14 goal loss, with our score being something like last year, under 40 points.
But a part of me thinks that there's a sneaky chance that if the lads bring enough vigour and desire,
they could match the Cats in most departments.
Sportsbet has us at over $3.00 for the win, however I am amazed, considering the Pussies torched the Tigers.
I reckon $4.50 is more realistic.
A close loss of under 5 goals might be on the cards.
Yes, I know this post sounds all over the place, but my inconsistency perfectly mirrors the Saints' form line over the years.
So there. haha
