People complain we can’t field a decent team due to injuries, all while Ratts drops fit players like Long while keeping Kent…

🤦‍♂️

What does Kent have to do to get dropped?

Must be purely due to injuries

But what does Kent offer ? He doesn't kick goals he cant play mid field or defence & he fumbles ground balls & drops chest marks FFS. I don't hate the bloke but what does he offer ? A nice bump & the occasional good over head mark , I just don't get it . I hope he comes out kicks 4 & makes me eat humble pie but he's done nothing to get my hopes up so far this year.

Kent is far from AFL standard and all his selection does is stall the potential development of a young player with fresh talent and potential.

Until this club addresses mediocrity it's not going to go anywhere. Melbourne got rid of him for a reason. Look at where they are now and where our club is. Enough said.

if the choice is Kent vs Long ,you may as well play a man short!
At least Kent doesn't give away as many stupid frees.

Im all for Ratten still but it's amazing how new coaches come in with a breath of fresh air yet over time they turn into the coach they replaced...

There is a real wiff of Richo in team selection lately...

It’s been there for a while…
These things tend to get overlooked when you’re winning but Kent a sustained run in the second half of last year whilst churning out crappy performance after crappy performance

Barely kicked any goals

One similarity between Cho and Ratts is the shite depth of the playing lists they had to work with.

Not enough scrutiny of the Recruiters and List manager, it's always the coaches fault.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

This makes sense, if our draft selections had been better over the past six years & our trade week selections pre 2019 been more to a plan than desperation then we would not have a list full of McKernans, Hunters, Frawleys and Kents.

Further to that, can anyone see a plan evolving to how our list should look? How many years now have we been screaming for fast, skilled, goal kicking mids?

Not only don't we have one, we are now in desperate need of a CHB and a ruckman to cover the retirement or injury to Paddy.

I hope there was plenty of sauce to give flavour to that humble pie!
