Tank it up get picks
Play kids
I’d tell Paddy to have a good spell also
Get em healthy into off season
We need a big pre-season
I would add to this that we should try abs insist on better warm up abs cool-down to avoid soft tissue injuries

The coach says big Max has a torn right abductor. That means he is done for 2021.
It's a shame just when he was really showing something.
Needs to get healthy have a big pre season and a huge 2022.
Not phased by this news as I don’t think we’re a realistic chance to play finals, but we need to get him in the gym ASAP working on upper body and core strength ready for next year.
Hopefully we get to see what Allison has to offer.
Please, please, please don’t bring McKernan back in!!!
“ St Kilda key forward Max King meanwhile remains in contention to face Geelong in the Saints’ do-or-die clash at GMHBA Stadium this weekend.
King was injured in the second half of the victory against the Swans, ending the game on the bench and with ice applied to an adductor muscle in his right leg. The club said on Monday that King would face a fitness test this week in a bid to play in the potentially season-defining game.”

On one hand you really don't want to risk King, and on the other hand you want to do everything possible to make finals. If we win both of our games then there's a solid chance that we'd sneak into the 8. Drop one and the chance is zero.
If he is deemed fit to play then I'd play him. If there's a significant risk of aggravating the injury then he sits out.
I didn't think there would be any scenario where Membrey and Sharman could be our only tall targets up forward, but here we are. Potentially no King, Ryder, Carlisle, Battle or Wood. I'd rather not waste time giving McKernan or Hunter a game.

Our season-defining game against Geelong was in Round 9, not Round 22.
80+ tackles for 3 holding the ball frees.
5.18.48 said all we needed to know about umpiring and our goal kicking.
It's a shame Max King won't get a shot at redemption for his 1.5 effort against them last time, like Jack Higgins did for his 1.6 effort against Sydney earlier in the season.

Max's right abductor is injured. Even if they roll the dice and play him. And they tried that against the Swans after he was injured and it didn't work. If he plays he risks making it worse. Is there a point in doing this?

Absolutely NOT...time to put the cue in the rack & fingers crossed after another big pre season that cue has become a baseball bat, Godfather style!
