Interesting Games of 2 quarters

Post: # 1941761Post Sainter_Dad »

There has been two distinct changes in momentum in tonight's game

I agree with Brown v King comparisons but maybe should be more Naughton v King

Hate seeing the dees win so after they kicked the first 4 goals I switched to the most boring cricket match ever.

When I turned back the dees still had only 4 goals but the doggies had eight. After watching the dees kick the next 6 I switched back to the cricket hoping the doggies do beter whiIe I watch the cricket drag out to a draw.

Watching confirms my view that Lyons is past it and is now a crap bowler not worth a place in the side

2nd Innings
Lyon 4 for 103
Swepson 0 for 152

Swepson must have been woeful in this game.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I concur
Lyon has had so many chances over his career to be the hero and win the test , bowling the Aussie's to victory on the final day . Yet unfortunately he's only done it a few times.

Swepson didn't show a lot, but he DID have three crucial catches dropped off him late in the game.
If they'd been held, he'd now be the hero of Australia's great victory.
