I reckon Webster and Long have been far from our worst.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 15 2022
Sid Knee kicked 5 goals 4 behinds in the 3rd quarter whilst the Saints only managed 4 points.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Not questioning their effort. Just their ability. Not good enough.desertsaint wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jun 2022 10:19pm ok so 46 points down in the last. we've done this before to them. it's maxy's 'plugger' moment!

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 15 2022
Went to the Suns game last weekend and the kids loved it. Said to them that they probably shouldn't go for the Saints given geography and the fact that they're completely shyte. My daughters response was 'aren't the Suns shitter than the Saints?' My response, 'No sweetheart, they're not'.Bruce G McAbee wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jun 2022 10:16pm I am going to ask this football club why I should renew my membership next year. We are a joke of a football club.
No heart no desire, no ambition just nothing.
I am tired of the crap they dish out we re a leaderless club from the President down.
I am 64 years old and I won't see another St.Kilda premiership, actually I doubt the next generation will either.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 15 2022
The true tragedy today… I had a really successful punt on the Carlton game and cashed out my winnings to the nearest 0.
Left me with $4.
I decided to go on an absurd 15+ leg multi on this game
Lloyd, Ross, Crouch, Steele, Florent, Blakey, Buddy, Hickey, NWM, Butler, Membrey and Papley have all more or less done what i needed them to do to 3/4.
Would have turned that $4 to over $100… except for 2 unlikely legs
King to kick a goal, Coops to kick one
Who seriously thought we’d have 2 goals total to 3/4 time

Anyone going to watch the last quarter.
I'm curious to see if we kick a goal from field play, or just a goal for that matter.
Also like watching Howard. It's become a morbid fascination.

I was hoping for some real grit & determination but WTF embarrassing is an under statement .

Main thing is we are still woke. Gay pride and making sure an Aboriginal player tosses the coin every week is so great to watch. Winning isn’t the most important thing.

Oh and refrain from your smart -arse comments and see things for what they really are.
in the first half of of the season when we were flattering ourselves in the the top 4, was Billings playing?
Has he made a difference since he returned?
I reiterate...it's not a personal attack on Billings but he REPEATEDLY misses set shots. We NEEDED that goal to be kicked early in that resultant, woeful 3rd quarter from a skilled, seasoned senior player.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 15 2022
I’m in the same boat at 68 my time to be around for our second premiership is looking shot. I cannot seeing us win another game this year. Even the Eagles would trounce us given this unaccountable, predictable, boring style of football we’re playing. Disgraceful!!!!Bruce G McAbee wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jun 2022 10:16pm I am going to ask this football club why I should renew my membership next year.
