Changes for next week
To be honest, I don't care because it won't change anything.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Changes for next week
We have blown a good start to the season with insipid mediocre performances when we needed to stand up and make a statement against sidea in the top 8.
I was there last night and to watch our disposal dropped marks players finger pointing and not picking up loose players.I will not name who they were but these players need to made accountable. The body language of some players also needs to be questioned.
Our season is over so really not interested whos in or whos out.
Just pick players who are willing to have a crack last night was a total embarrassment.
Is there something happening internally ?
BOOM BOOM

Re: Changes for next week
Jones & Howard can have spells - Owens & Joyce / Highmore or Lienert
For club leaders I've had enough of their current form.
Others just seem to be like deckchairs on the Titanic.

Re: Changes for next week
out Sharman, King, NWM, Byrnes and Howard
We have virtually no options to chose from at Sandy so based on how these players were playing over 4 weeks ago my ins would be:
Ryder, Hill, DMac, Wood, Higgins, and I'd bring in Highmore to see what he's got.
Players who need to be told they are lucky to be getting a game
Gresham (stats look ok but he's a cheater, stands on the outside and watches the ball too much and thinks he's Dusty when he does get the ball).
Billings (should be told he will be at another club in 2023)
Still too many players not showing on field leadership and display a willingness to make the required sacrifice when opposition are strong arming us.
Soft bruise free kick chasers.

Re: Changes for next week
Why was Mason Wood dropped in the first place? He’ll probably go into obscurity with Lienert and Highmoreolder saint wrote: ↑Sun 26 Jun 2022 1:32pm in: Ryder, Hill, Highmore, Wood

Re: Changes for next week
Ratts made the cardinal mistake of changing a winning team- now we have lost three in a row, and two of those in an embarrassing way. Wood is a better option than Jones, but otherwise keep that team- draw a line in the sand and if you fall behind, then your chances of senior games are limited.

Re: Changes for next week
I think by virtue of there being almost zero options to bring players in from Sandy, Ratts hands are tied and options extremely limited, we are still a chance to make finals if we can turn it around quickly but you'd think if the wheels feel off fall off to the point we are out of contention then Ratts has the opportunity to change the seasons focus to preparing for 2023.spert wrote: ↑Sun 26 Jun 2022 3:07pm Ratts made the cardinal mistake of changing a winning team- now we have lost three in a row, and two of those in an embarrassing way. Re: Changes for next week
I would propose
IN: DMac, Hill, Ryder and Higgins
OUT: Jones (whether or not he is suspended), NWM, Windhager, Sharman
One of NWM or Windhager (preferably the latter) would be the medi-sub.
I know that most fans seem to hate Billings, Butler and Howard, but they are all seasoned AFL players and we will need them against the Blues. I don't think it's time to throw in the towel yet.
I imagine they'll think about bringing Wood back in, but I think 4 changes are the maximum we should go for.

NVM needs a spell in the VFL for 2-3 weeks.

Re: Changes for next week
Out:
Jones, Byrnes (not up to it), Webster, Butler, Billings, Windhager (medi)
In: DMac, Owens, Higgins, Highmore/Lienert, Hill, Ryder
Owens adds toughness up forward/on ball
Hill - run off HBF/Wing
DMac - run/hardness
Ryder - HO/forward
Higgins - goals
Long/Gresham to bring forward heat
Mids - I’d bring Sinclair into middle he could split time in their for outside run n carry with Gresham but at least going into 50 he can lower eyes and hit target
I’m not sure I’d play Jones again tbh he’s a deadset liability/ball butcher

Outs: Paton, Jones, Butler, Long, Howard and Byrnes
Plus McKenzie for NVM, if he is fit otherwise NVM keeps his spot

Re: Changes for next week
Highmore Joyce Battle
Sinclair Howard Clark
Too tall??
I’d like to give Joyce (done well in VFL and has some mongrel) I think Howard at CHF frees him up as he’s clearly not a lock down option
Might leave us a small forward shut down option short…
