Carl Dilena
How's Essendon's form, trying to poach our newly appointed COO to be their next CEO, according to this media report.

Re: Carl Dilena
I don't care whether he stays or goes.
Saints are aware?
That means, IMHO, that Dilena told Lethers, Bassat, etc about the interest.
He's honest.
If he goes, we get another COO.
And we tell the Bombers sure, they can have him, but they have to pay out his ENTIRE contract. Stuff em.
We could advertise the vacancy on SEEK
Fred Bassat knows a bit about SEEK

Re: Carl Dilena
I'd be pretty happy for him to move to Essendon, to be honest.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Re: Carl Dilena
See position filled by a sandgroper.
Surprised neither of Damien Barratt nor Caroline Richmond got the gig or were shortlisted. They seem to know everything about clubs and players.
Actually not sure I know of any journalist commentator that has actually done what they critique: coaching, club or list management wise. Why's that.

Re: Carl Dilena
The Essendon Football Club has today appointed Craig Vozzo as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Vozzo joins the Bombers having worked in a variety of on and off-field roles at the West Coast Eagles.
In 2013, Vozzo was appointed General Manager of Football and during his tenure, the Eagles won the 2018 AFL Premiership.
In 2021, the 53-year-old transitioned into the role as the club's Senior Corporate Counsel, working on the club's legal and strategic needs.
Essendon President Dave Barham said he was delighted Vozzo had accepted the CEO role and welcomed Craig and his family to the Essendon Football Club.
“Craig is a terrific person who understands what’s required to build a strong and successful football club,’’ Barham said.
“His experience in delivering football results and driving a high-performance environment was a key factor in his appointment as our next CEO.

Good on Carl for not making a huge mistake and heading for the Hangar.
