Mason Wood injury
Where is the confirmation?
Interesting how most on here regarded him as pretty useless last year. He always looked to have ability.

Only those who don't see a thoroughbred when it (he) is right in front of their eyes.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Mon 03 Apr 2023 3:40pm Where is the confirmation?

Anyway he was great in the second half of last year and several had him in the starting lineup for 2023.

Re: Mason Wood injury
Media report (SEN?) saying maybe his injury isn't as bad as first thought ..... so maybe not 6-8 weeks as initially reported

Re: Mason Wood injury
AFL Website just reported avoided long term injury and possible for this week if gets through training.
Finally good news for injuries
Webster out likely 6 weeks though.

Re: Mason Wood injury
Yes exactly. Bummer for Jimmy. He's having a rough run. But that's great if Mason is available or only one week. Has become a crucial player and no-one really like for like.longtimesaint wrote: ↑Mon 03 Apr 2023 6:20pm At least with Jimmy out we have Paton to cover for him.

Re: Mason Wood injury
My understanding is that the decision will be made to either
1 Operate now, weeks out
2 Keep playing and assess after the bye, apparently the injury cannot get any worse

Re: Mason Wood injury
If you are referring to Wood then keep playing him, wait for some others to come back and then get him into surgery. The way he's playing he could do it on one shoulder.terry smith rules wrote: ↑Mon 03 Apr 2023 7:35pm My understanding is that the decision will be made to either
