Did Hawthorn do a 'Pakistan'?

Dropping that game against Richmond.

Echoes of the Pakistan team of the past, like when they were in an unlosable position in Sydney? But incredibly, with talent to burn, mysteriously just lost. back when...and in other tests too..

This was before the scandals with the bowlers and the no-balls.

Ya think?

Just played poorly for the last 10 minutes and choked

Conversely; Richmond were awesome in the last quarter. Dusty, Taranto, Bolton.

The Tigers Defence stood up. Last quarter it was 12-11 i50's but Hawthorn failed to score a goal. Hawthorn were entering inside 50 like St Kilda.

I remember a game where we lost to the bulldogs when we were 6 goals up, and Max Haughton crying, that seems similar to todays game. Hopefully their as flat as a tack next week.

Sometimes it just happens. A team plays out of their skin, runs out of puff, their opponent gets a run on, and then you find yourself behind when the final siren sounds.

Think you might be right there asiu, especially if they don't find a way to stop James Sicily's dominance in defence.

In yesterday's game he took 13 marks intercepting Richmond forward thrusts in another BOG performance.
