Got his hands on a few I'd expect him to take. Can play.

The Sharmanitor! I've always liked the kid. King, Sharman & Camminiti could one day be the scariest combination of big forwards in a team.

Yeah I really like him as well kid competes well, runs hard, is a good shot and has excellent decision making. Gotta say I really like him up forward. He gets up in the contests but often brings it down to the advantage of his team mates which isn’t coincidental.
Here’s hoping he continues to improve

Re: Meh to the Sharman doubters.
He’s earned his spot in the team.
When Byrnes (I think) coming thru the centre hit him lace out on a lead I nearly creamed myself, when do we ever see that?!
Better than Caminiti at this stage.

Had a great game yesterday. Strikes me as someone with a bit of footy smarts about him. Was mentioned but I don't think Ross gave him enough credit for what he did in making Sicily accountable (which was sorely lacking last time we played)

Re: Meh to the Sharman doubters.
He played a good game against the Hawks. I still have my doubts on him but am always rapt to be proven wrong, on any player. Would LOVE to see both Billings and Gresh prove me wrong this week (although Billings also had a very serviceable game on the weekend) Gresh was lively but still smashing the ball onto his boot.

Re: Meh to the Sharman doubters.
Do we know if Sharman will be ok for next week due to his hammy problem.
If king is back next week with Sharman king will get the no1 defender witch would really help Sharman and Caminiti

They are not doubters but philosophical nay sayers. Doesn't matter how many good things he does they will never acknowledge his talent.
Must be discombobulating for them.

Re: Meh to the Sharman doubters.
He was immense yesterday. What suits him most is that he has a ¬10min / 3klm tank so he can get up and back. I've always loved Members' ability to hit the wings and work back but Sharman is a better runner. He dropped 3 cars yesterday too. One day it'll be a full on clunk fest for him

Re: Meh to the Sharman doubters.
3rd lowest stats and managed only 1 tackle and dropped a few sitters against the 3rd from the bottom.
Needs to stop trying to win mark of the century at every opportunity because it requires him to hang out the back to get his run up and that's why he gets caught out of position which weakens his defensive side.
will probably struggle to hold his spot when King and Members come back.

Will take Mark of the year?
I’d like him to hang onto a mark?!
Did a good job curtailing Sicily a bit

LOL at the above.
Meanwhile how Hawthorn FC saw it:

Saints, Sharman work hard to quieten Sicily
James Sicily produced an enormous performance when the Hawks shocked the Saints in round 11.
But St Kilda worked hard to quell the Hawthorn captain's influence this time around and it worked, with Cooper Sharman doing most of the hard work, especially in the first quarter as the Saints ran rampant.
Sicily finished with 26 disposals and seven marks plus eight intercept possessions, but his influence was lessened.
