Re: Inzaine in the brain.
I think the big revelation that not as many have pointed out, is that he has played really well as a defender, his natural position.
I was only unhappy having him play as a makeshift forward. He is now doing the role we recruited him for. Key defender cover. He is doing it great

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
No, but our backline looks more complete when our midfield and forwards are winning contested balls and piling on pressure.

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
Cordy is doing what he was recruited to do
The reason he has not played as a defender prior to the last couple of weeks is because Howard has been available
Which tells us what the pecking order is
Cordy played forward to lend some experience and size to a very young forward line - a forward line missing Membrey, King and Hayes

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
Played forward out of necessity- and was pretty average
Looked a lot better in defence
Can he and Doug play together in the back half - no
He is not better than Battle and Wilkie

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
It will be interesting to see who Ross goes with when Dougal is available.
If he doesn’t take Cordy’s spot I really don’t see a place for him in the team.
Zanie is doing well because like a good man….

Why should Howard play!
He can't defend so he's next to useless. Cordy is so much better.

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
Harsh. He's a very good defender. Limitations are when he's in possession in decision making and execution of disposal.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Wed 23 Aug 2023 12:12pm Why should Howard play!

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
I think Howard gets pushed a side too easily whereas Cordy, from the limited sample size I've seen, doesn't seem to.

Re: Inzaine in the brain.
Is there someone they could split pick 3 with, and give a lower first rounder to us?
