That was a ten goal plus win if we kicked straight.
We were in control most of the time, and any other team would put the oppo out of their misery.
Our guys played like 'we can't believe we're in front' and played very defensively to protect the lead, instead of inflicting more pain and making a statement.
Any normal team would've had 19-20 goals.
Poor accuracy and being conservative
Conservative? We had 59 inside fifties, 28 scoring shots and our play on percentage was through the roof. Ross said it himself, we were bold, not conservative. Poor conversion flattered the scoreline. Very little else did.
Ball movement was bold…16 goals 12 would have been a more reflective score line
I thought peoples on foe (and geezus that’s been a blessing..)
Couldn’t see your posts?
No matter
I always thought you’d come squirming home once RTB improvements kicked
Finally see some lights?
No sir, sorry, ma;am, not blinded by the light...or by the boss for that matter. You are though, Tough s*** .
RTB improvements? Don't think so.. The kids playing for Sandringham have shown marked improvement over the season and I very much doubt that has anything to do with the head coach at Moorabbin.

I don’t think they’re a footy supporter out there who doesn’t think Ross can coach!
It’s whether
1/ he never makes a mistake
2/ whether coaches impact as much as we think
Good on you Martin through gritted teeth you’re an honorary member of RTB Fanboy Brigade

Now our next loss….try not to revert to type…stick fat …you’ll be right

Ross Lyon has now made five consecutive finals series as St Kilda coach.
But St Kilda have never played in five consecutive finals series.
In 2011, the last year before RL left, we were on a downward trajectory ... we finished the year with 12 wins.
The challenge is sustained success ... and for that we need good recruiting.
Nothings changed, there.

So maybe the difference between a very good coach and a so-so coach is that a very good coach helps a good team to win those extra games to make finals (or win prelims) that the so-so coach could not.
