well our club has disgraced itself admin communications wise all season.borderbarry wrote:The Footy Show was inconclusive. None the wiser as to whether Sam injured or not.
If he has a serious injury and nothing has come from the club it is pretty poor.

Listen to Sen after the 9pm news. The Doc will be on, be interesting to see if he comes up with anything more than Channel 9 this morning.- thinking not ? I hope he has had his nose to the ground today to find out.? more than likely Monday id say.It seems simliar to Kennelly's earlier in the season -mIssed 2 i think ? and wasnt right then missed another 2-3. And he''s a freak! Could be season ending for Gil?? Hopefully the medical staff will do the right thing by him not like what they did with Aaron.
On a positive spin to this it could be the opportunity Matty Ferguson has been waiting for. It could be career defining. Hope he takes it with both hands if its the case.

Tune in now for Dr. Peter Bruckner on SEN.

Also, i'm finding it pretty laughable that we (myself included) were led to believe that Gilbert was being groomed as a FB. Not that he'd be bad there, but 99% of his talent would be wasted.

It is an excusable mistake.Otiman wrote:Also, i'm finding it pretty laughable that we (myself included) were led to believe that Gilbert was being groomed as a FB. Not that he'd be bad there, but 99% of his talent would be wasted.
Our FB had just retired
Our backup FB only had a few years left
Then we use our first pick in the next draft on a 194cm defender. Most would then assume that the player will be groomed to to be our FB of the future.
What did they do with Aaron?? Said on The Footy Show earlier in the year that he wanted to have surgery at the end of last year but the Club didn't want him to - is that it?Nick_Stone29 wrote:Could be season ending for Gil??
