He did well tonight until he got injured. Looked in serious trouble. Has anyone heard how bad the injury is?

Looked like a dislocated knee from the replay on the big screen.

An unfortunate injury at an unfortunate time.

Cost us a goal whilst he was being attended to and carried from the ground.

A disappointing end to a stellar season from the young bloke. Done all that was asked of him.

Won't be in anyone's dream team for the next few seasons, but might just pop his head up for a crack at a saints B&F.

Terrible decision by medical staff not to bring out a stretcher for him. It allowed Fletcher to get free & kick a goal while Jayden was being assisted off. Poor understanding by forward line players too to not recognise what was going on & push up to cover for him.

that is a true point while attard was hobbleing around we were short on man but i think if the strecher had been called out the gaol would of still happened as the trainers would of had to get the attention of the umpires and then they would have to stop play the goal would of been scored b4 the umpires had noticed the strtcher being called

hate to start writing this but where does this put him on our lsit for 2008?

We have 3 players going into next year under injury clouds (sammy, gards and BJ) can we afford to keep him on the list. I wuld guess he would go back to the rookie list.

If he stays on the rookie list, do we see how he goes late '08 to see if he has the capacity to make AFL level again. His ability to be a shut down player relies on speed and hard running.

For one thing, he will not be elevated to the senior list at the end of this season. One more space for someone to stay on the list or draft a later selection player.

very sad news for Attard....but hopefully we can keep him on the rookie list and it wont cost us much next year and he'll be of value in 2009.

The positive, if there is one (yes this sounds cruel) is that is wasn't yet another KPP player to go down with a biggie.

Very unfortunate news for Attard. Hopefully he can have a speedy recovery, and we can see him in the second half of 08.

Was actually playing the best game of his career before he got injured.

10 touches to halftime, was running hard through the midfield, carrying and delivering it well.

Shocking luck for JA .... the club will retain him for sure (absolutely no doubt) and probably elevate him, and then put him on the LTI list ...

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.
