I'm putting money on the Crows to win...

Post: # 445130Post Beej »

I heard the Pies were pretty good last weekend so I think they'll get up BUT if the Crows somehow manage to turn them over ending our season in the process, I'm going to get absolutely trolleyed and drown my sorrows, free of charge courtesy of the Adelaide FC. WIN-WIN. :D

It will only be temporary relief from the pain of missing out on the finals for the first time in 4 years but every little bit helps, I suggest you all do the same.

Not Bad advice OLB

Hope I don't collect but would be some consolation to drown my sorrows on someone else

If not I can happily celebrate with my own shout on Saturday night 8-)

I like your theory, i guess it brings some positive out of the game.

Perhaps people who always seem to lose when they place money on things, could sacrifice a few dollars to the benefit of STKFC, it could be seen as a donation to the club

 I like it!

I might go and pop $20 on the Crows beak to win then! :D

TAB (Vic) Pies 2.00 Crows 1.75

$15 if the Crows get up...maybe I need to throw more on

How are the Crows favourites for this game?

Must be a lot of Saints fans out there putting money on them as a consolation prize!

I might put $300 on Adelaide, that should be enough to get Collingwood over the line

good idea OLB.

THe other consolation prize is Melbourne Victory's first home game at TD on Saturday night.

So you can seamlessly move from the footy season to the soccer season all in 24 hours!!!

very much doubt it...last year there were radio broadcasts of the footy on a commercial station as well as the abc...but this year i'm told that they have all ceased...could be wrong but.....

Yep sounds good to me. Being the "hardluck Harry" that I am if I put money on the crows then they will lose for sure.
