Do I detect a theme here ?

Post: # 452293Post Enrico_Misso »

2002
Player X leaves StKilda

2003
StKilda climbs up the ladder towards 3 years of finals.
Player X arrives at Hawthorn
Hawthorn goes into decline - no finals appearances

2006
Player X leaves Hawthorn

2007
Hawthorn storm up ladder and become Premiership contender.
Player X arrives at Sydney.
Sydney plummets from successive Grand Finals to first week elimination.

Thesis
Player X is an infectious cancer.
The teams he leaves play much better without him.
And the teams he plays for fall apart.

But I think we can thankfully now say that Player X will never win the Premiership medallion he has sought with such selfishness at the expense of team-mates at three clubs.

Good Riddance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About a third of his games over the course of his career have been wins.

He has never played in a winning final - his finals series in 1998 consisted of two losses, and he lost last night.

Loser.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

All this vitriol is pathetic, While I was glad to see the back of him ....

Whats the one reason 99% St.Kilda fans truly believe to be the missing key in '97.

He had played, we win, everybody is singing a different tune.

Some of us are nearly as fickle as melbourne journo's

I remember where I was when just before Geelongs 4th game of the season every journo had Thompson fired if he lost this one ... Good think Bomber clicked his fingers and made everything better.

Pathetic ....

good point.

and perhaps had he not got injured we would've won the flag.

Also, how were our rucking stocks over the last few years???

(Not sure if anyone has raised this second point of mine b4!!!!)

How is Sydney's ruck stock's...

They will be out trolling for a ruckman again this draft period, they might need some key backs, key forwards and good mids as well......

End of an era for them.......

Maybe we can trade them Rix and Brookes for draft picks......

The fact that we couldn't stop Allen & then Jarman probably had something to do with the fact that Rehn was knocking it down Mcleod's throat & then dropping back to tag team Loewe. Brett Cook/Spider/Lazar, who you gunna pick???

I loved Spider when he was with us, was bitterly disappointed when he left but the way he bagged the club & tried to get more money out of the club marked his papers for me.
