its not your username we have issues with, it is your posts that lack substance and insult our intelligence.
please dont spam this thread honouring voss further, if you want to know why your posts are an issue, start a tread in the general forum and FFS stop pm'ing me stupid questions.

If your posts were intelligent or showed some thought or insight I'm sure you would be respected.
Sadly, your outbursts on this and other threads have been enough to warrant you being called out for them.
I suggest you take the advice and think before you post or not do it at all.
Thank you Brett Voss. You made me proud often.
Always knew you were 100% committed, and never flinched.
I enjoyed lots of things in your career.
Good luck!
Brett Voss was an outstanding recruit for St.Kilda FC. One of the most courageous players the game has ever seen with very sure hands. Never flinched in marking contests. A fantastic clubman who loved his involvement with our club. He lost what was left of his lack of pace and that ultimately has ended his career. I hope other players learn from this bloke's character, committment and loyalty. Well played Vossy, what a tough nut you were as a player. What a great St.Kilda player you have been. Thanks for all the great efforts and your courage and that big smile you always seem to have on your face!! We had the good Voss!!
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Thanks for a great career Vossy. Nice guy off the field and most courageous player on the field.
Around 2004/2005 I rated him our most valuable defender. At that stage if one of our tall defenders was injured , I always felt we could cover them, but with the type of game Vossy played , I never felt we could cover him. e.g playing taller , backing into packs , and cutting off leads from opposition forward.
Loved watching vossy play and think he has been great with us. Sorry to see him go. Thought he was a bit harshly done by this year. All the best Vossy.
Thanks V2...wonderfuil contribution from a great Clubman who knew no fear.
Got every ounce out of his ability. Underrated contested mark and a very reliable set shot when drifting forward.
Will be able to resume those backyard wars with his bro Will always remember him sucking Michael in at TD in 03 with some verballing and earning himself 50 metres..oh and yes that tackle in 04
Onya Vossy..best wishes for life after footy. Hope you hang around the Club..does the budget allow for a "head over the footy and taking one for the team" coach???;-)

Yeah well people on this forum tease my username and i dont like it i try and get on the right foot with them but NO they have to be smartasses back!!!!!!!!!
Congrats Vossy on a marvellous and largely underrated (amongst AFL circles) career...
I would never feel safer with anyone else in a marking contest (except maybe Roo or Kosi) then Vossy backing back and taking a timely mark or making a timely spoil. You were unflinching in the trenches, had sure hands and were a reliable kick. You also kicked several valuable goals and took the points over your much-heralded older brother on two occasions. You are a terrific St. Kilda clubman Vossy and will always have a special place in our hearts.
All the best for the rest of your life Vossy...
....an obvious victim of the evolution of the game.
Sounds like he still has some footy left in him, so it would be great to see him playing a season or 2 at the Scorps. Showed this year he can still be more than handy at that level.

he should do some assistance coach role he would be a brilliant defensive coach!
Thanks for the great service and all the memories Vossy. You were an underrated player, but were an essential part of our backline before age, and the speed of the game finally caught up. Your courage was unquestionable, your ability to float forward and kick a few goals was invaluable, plus you had arguably the best pair of dukes in the side. Wishing you all the very best in your post footy life, and hope that you remain at the club in some capacity.
Trust the Midas Touch
