Will announce after Geelongs season is done

Huge, huge call considering even Sheedy and Hirdy said they only have 12 good players, you must have a source (not tomatoe) to post this :?

Actually heard the same thing today from a director of an AFL club ... who can sometimes be wildly inaccurate with such news.

Huge news if true ... especially if the Cats win the flag.

He is walking into a crap list at the Bummers ... they will need a rebuild.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Not surprised. Have heard exactly the same thing but a 5 year deal. Positively a done deal from what I've heard.

Have also heard the Doggies leadership group is filthy with Rocket!

Yep, friend of a friend.

It'd almost put you off winning a premiership wouldn't it:

* 2006 Premiership captain quits club!!!
* 2007 Premiership coach (?) quits club!!!

This makes more sense than judd he actually played for essendon and is angry at geelong.

yeah but the way geelongs playing they could win next year as well, you'd think after 8 years coaching them to this point he'd want to enjoy the good times, especially as flags are hard to get.

If any of you heard Brian Cook on 927 this morning you would know that Bomber will be at the Cats in 2008 and the BIG NEWS was he will be there most likely even if they lose tonight.

Why do we get this nonsense.

To top off the story, Bomber has been voted coach of the year by other coaches.

Jezza after 1979?? Followed an argument with the the club's President. This must mean that Bummer will go to the Saints !!

Can't see him going anywhere....

Now imagine if the Cats do win a flag....and he goes to the Dons...

How could he possibly look any of the Dons players in the eye and say "win it for the club!!'.....when he had just walked out of a group of players at the Cats...

How could the Dons players have total faith in him???

They aren't even in the GF yet, let alone have the thing won.

This what gives the Pies and probably Port a big chance of ruining the dream...in the bag according to most 8-)
