Don't want Robbo or Seaby really

Seaby better than Brooks i suppose, although i have always been a huge fan of Brooks and rate his potential

If the deal for us is
LOSE: Brooks, pick 9
GET: Sylvia, Seaby

i'm not convinced it's a great deal

Sylvia hasn't been anything at all special...pity it isn't nathan jones

losing nothing in brooks (although he could be something) and a potential very good player in pick 9 for middle of the road ruck (seaby), middle of the road mid/hff (sylvia) who is young...

There is no way we would trade pick 9 for those 2... If we weren't getting Seaby we wouldn't even be in the mix... If West Coast want Brooks we can trade him + a 3rd round pick for Seaby if he really is out of favour...

Seaby is a chump, Sylvia is overrated and has produced almost zero, and Robertson is at the end of his career with a dodgy knee.

Smells like a typical KEN SHELDON deal to me.

pick 2 does not fit, richmond are not giving up pick 2 for anything - not even judd, according to wallace

it's not a good deal for us anyway...we're not getting ripped off necessarily, but it sure ain't a winner

Even if there was a link, I'd have a hard time buying this rumour. I can't imagine Brooks being worth anything much after six years for ten games. If anyone was going to pick him up, I would have thought Melbourne, not West Coast might be interested. Bailey has some experience with Brooks, and Port Adelaide people seem to like him better than anyone who has dealt with him at St. Kilda.
