3 Draft picks in the top 20 ? !!

Post: # 466143Post Eastern »

Brian Taylor was saying on MMM during their pre match today that St Kilda would end up with 3 picks in the top 20 (2 of which are in the top 10) & James Frawley as part of the Judd to Melbourne deal. He didn't say how this would come about and I can't see how, but he said it and he has a pretty good accuracy rate with his stories !!

We wouldn't get 3 draft picks in the top 20 without giving up more than pick 9

Monday Oct 8 to 2pm Friday Oct 12 is Trade week so we'll know for sure in less than 2 weeks time.......

Frawley

If we were to get Frawley and Melbournes 2nd round draft pick # 21 for our pick # 9 it would be a reasonable deal for us!

Throw in Sylvia our way and our second pick their way and I'm interested.

I agree totally on Sylvia. Needs a change of club. has been a major dissapointment at the Dees but you dont lose your talent.

If we could get Silvia it would be a great get IMHO.

Another name badied about was Travis Johnstone, but even though Travis is a former No 1 and very skilled I think the Dees would be looking for a number #9 pick.

Frawley and Dees second pick for #9 and Saints second would be a great get for us. Would leave us with what? Pick #17 and we would have a good Fullback (with a great name) and a hard at it mid talented mid who would be out to prove he is a genuine #3 dp.

Pipe dream? Mabye but if we got Frawley and Sylvia for something like above, I would not be unhappy.

Lance or James??

Frawley's had 1 year in the system, the same as Armitage,Howard,Hansen,
Gumbelton,etc.....

If Frawley is a dud after 1 year then all of the above named are as well...

BTW...after his first year ,Gilbert should have been classed as a dud .........
based on the criteria of a fellow poster.......

wrong..if you are referring to me......we wouldn't have been offering gilbert up ...obviously the dees share my opinion on frawley anyway...

....anyone with an eye for a footballer could see that gilbert had it after one game...i have seen frawley play a couple of times....he might make it...but probably not.......so smoke that.....

none of this will happen unless Judd goes to the Dees, and aren't Carlton still the fav?

so in the end we'll probably end up keeping pick 9 and all this Fev, Seaby and Frawley stuff will equate to nothing

i can see it happening

I dont smoke.....

Gilbert showed nothing in his first game....if you were there...

What i'm saying is it's too early to tell catergorically how good Frawley is based on the leeway afforded to other players...

enjoy your bong dude........
