Where did you hear "different location"?
I heard two reports:
1. Chick involved
2. Another Eagles player involved
Neither mentioned second locations so I assumed there was Chick involvement in the Cousins stop/arrest (Chick being the unnamed Eagles player in the second report).
Aberdeen St in East Perth is incredibly close to Curtin House too. It's possible that it was in Short St (which is a little further down, near the train line) where there is a lot of drug activity.

"Just a short while ago police have taken Ben Cousins away, handcuffed, shirtless, into custody, taken him away for questioning after stopping him and a young woman in his car on Aberdeen St," Taylor told Southern Cross at 1530 AEST.

No those 'punchups' allegedly relate to the fact that Embley (at the co-ercion of Embley's wife/girlfriend?) took Cousin's ex-girlfriend to Chick's house where Benny-boy had been staying/psrtying.
She allegedly burst in on CHick, Cousins and some females 'partying' and consequently telephoned the WCE hierarchy and told them that if they didn't do something about it she would. That was the reason for Xousins 'coming clean' about the whole 'substance use' issue. Chick took exception with Embley about him bringing the ex-girlfriend over and got into a 'punch-up' with him on a couple of occassions in the following week.
