AFAIK AFL Membership with Club support entitles you to the same priviledges as a Club member. The only doubt I'd have is whether the Club get as much money from this as they would if you bought a Membership through the Club.

Yeah, they wouldn't. I'm all for giving money to the club (hence the Social Club membership) but the AFL membership just suits my situation so much better.

According to the Membership renewal stuff...

Post: # 490112Post Stjohn »

Prices have been 'Frozen', but from checking what I paid last year,
it seems to have up $8.00 (for membership and Gold reserve seating).
So, I guess it's only a 'small defrost'.....

Very impressive package.

Big tick to the membership department.

saintscentral.com.au is a sensational initative.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

The Pen Silver Strip

Post: # 492057Post Banger2Plugger »

Have no idea what the silver strip down the pen is for - got me there! :?:

Just a word of warning those of you who have selected Easy Payment Plan - unfortunately it was too easy  - they deducted the whole sum in one hit from the credit card - so check your credit card statement.

Contact Stkilda memberships to fix it - they were extremely helpful and obliging so don't berate them - the error was not of their making some glitch with the ticketmaster system.

Well I've faxed off my Social Club membership form and I'm eagerly awaiting the AFL 2008 membership pack to be released. Hopefully see you at the Dome after a victory in round 1!

Congrats on knowing how to use a fax machine.

Kids - FYI a fax machine was really cool at the start of the 1990's!!!

need to be gentle- although I felt the pen itself was more solid than some you get as 'freebies''
My niece wants kosi on hers though- I suggested colour copier and wider sticky on one side only-

like the pull out banners that you sometimes get at the footy they do tend to wear on the edges.

But Hey if we get a decent pen with just St Kilda on it and The Age are good enough to assist - Thank you !

On the 16th December 2005 (prior to '06 season), we had 16,703 members.

With higher interest rates and prices in the economy, missing the finals, a lack of really effective promotion and the end of a short board dispute, it will be interesting to see what our membership levels are like by the time Round 1 arrives.

In the week immediately prior to Round 1 in 2006, we had 26,221 members.

In the week immediately prior to Round 1 in 2007, we had 26,466 members.

IMO we will be doing well to have 20k prior to Round 1 this year with all that has happened at the club last season, and the added financial pressure on people in the wider economy.

Strong success in Rounds 1-8 will be vital for our membership and bottom line in 2008.

Um, the club only started selling memberships a couple of weeks ago, way later than previous years.
