Said that we stuck to the interchanges that they formatted the night before and the times that each player would play. Dal and monty played half foward all night and the plan was to stick with the kids in the last quarter to see how they handled the pressure - happy with the way things went but it is still not the real deal

I reckon the coaching and conditioning staff have done an exceptional job this preseason getting game time into almost the entire list.

The most pleasing aspect has been the eveness of the contribution regardless of the personnel on the park. To a man we look well drilled in the game plan.

Yes tonight the game was clearly used a sa practice game.

For emaxple Roo on the bench for the entire last quarter......and giving all the rusty mids pleanty of ball time while playing Joy and Dal as HFs.......and the regular rotation of players each week.

And just like against the Cats giving the younger and fringe players the responsibilty of winning the game in the last quarter.

Focus is clearly on the H&A...

Making the NAB GF is a bonus....as is the prizemoney the club has now earnt.

Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

"No-one really remembers pre-season do they? I'm not going to keep my job winning the NAB Cup."

:)

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.
