Looks like Fiora and L. Fisher are in now.

edit- This is going off the Fanfooty live scoring so I'm not sure how accurate this is. The other emergancy was Birss.

L.Fisher definitely but I hope Birss gets a run instead of Fiora. I think they might move Sam Gilbert to the forward line for Fisher.

Apparently Gehrigs calf isn't quite right yet.

Not sure about Blake. Haven't heard a reason yet.

Well L. Fisher was told before the reserves match that he would be playing so I expect one out. Hopefully only one and expect it would be Fraser as they wouldn't want to play him if he needs another week. Just annoyed that Fiora is in the emergencies as he can't be trusted not to turn over the ball at the minute. Ross has plenty of flexibility to bring in Birss instead of Fiora.

I really hope Aaron takes this opportunity. The naming of Blake may have simply been a tactical move as Roos would have expected Blake to go onto Goodes. But Goodes has had a huge pre-season so perhaps we might see Rossy pull a surprise. Rossy may have even known that Fraser wouldn't play. The naming and withdrawal of both those players will make tactics a little more difficult for Mr Roos.

I would have thought Gram to go to Goodes. U can catch Goodes off guard defensively and we all know what Gram can do.

How does the withdrawal of two first 18 players make Roos job harder......losing Gehrig and Blake are more of a headache for Ross IMO.

Thought Fiora was alot better than he was in Nab cup. Missed a shot, but I dont think we had one goal scorer who didn't miss at least 1 shot as well. Was a great kick just faded at the end. His disposals were good though and he was hungry. Think the whole team were under par, but Fiora contributed well I thought. No real complaints, has definatly played worse.

I agree Huzzard. Fiora probably doesn't do quite as much as he should, but what he does do I like. He was terrific last year, towards he end, and I'm happy to have him in the team now.

That is the problem. When you have blokes knocking on the door for a spot that can play well for four quarters, then Fiora is one of the first to go.

Leigh Fisher showing the swans why they should have traded for him last year, priceless.

Oops, sorry for spelling your name wrong Huzzad.

And you're right, too, Otiman. Unfortunately for Fiora he has to do more of what he obviously can do.

I like Fiora. But even better i like a team that he mightn't even get a place in.

I thought Fiora did reasonably well last night. A better game than any of the pre-season matches. Just wish he would kick a goal. I can't remember the last time he goaled for us.

The context of this comment was that Rossy knew all along that the two boys would not play. I agree though that clearly it would cause problems for us if plans changed at the last minute. Leigh Fisher did a good job on Goodes who has been hot, hot, hot over the pre-season.
