Other oldies like me might remember that Romford was the setting for Ian Dury's song "Razzle in my pocket" which was presumably an autobiographical tale about a young boy being caught shoplifting a dirty magazine, but being let off the hook by the cops because he was only a kid (but, sadly, he had to give back the dirty mag).
The song is on the back of my old 45 rpm copy of the single of Sex and Drugs and Rock n'Roll that I bought in 1977 or thereabouts.
So perhaps the connection to Carlton is that crime doesn't pay?

remember they beat port adelaide in round 1 of the nab cup
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Damn ! hats off to a very obscure reference!
Thanks: trivia is my middle name......
I guess I just couldn't figure out why anyone would want to take a picture of the 296 bus to Rumford in the first place.
Is there such a thing as a "bus spotter" and, johnpeterbudgefanclub, are you one of these?
