One open training session per week?

Post: # 539964Post Bernard Shakey »

A couple of months ago the club said there will be at least one open training session per week.

Club website says there will be no open training session this week.

What gives?

yes- those closer would have better idea of time\
but out of moorabbin station - down central ave - past safeway- through walkway that then leads to horscroft place and onto Linton St- the oval etc will be to your right a fraction.

http://www.street-directory.com.au/sd_new/mapsearch.cgi
street- station st moorabbin, vic - shows central ave and the walkway to Horscroft place.

someone has a map with arrows on etc.
google maps- get direction will show map.
or From: Moorabbin Station Victoria
Via Sth Rd
1. Head north on Station St toward S Rd 0.1 km
2. Turn right at S Rd 0.5 km 2 mins
3. Turn right at Linton St 0.4 km 1 min

To: Linton St
Moorabbin VIC 3189

Healey Street is at the end of Central Avenue, go right towards the Oval and you will see a little reservation which contains the path that leads to Horscroft Place. It's a bit longer via South Road but harder to get lost.

Lol, pretty much the only time I went to see training I had absolutely no idea how to get there, I just kept walking down the street from the train station and went through this little court with warehouse type things and then saw it just to my right, thanks god I didn't go up the street to begin with

As soon as you get to the Safeway you can pretty much see the old light towers in the distance.

We used to go the main road the first few times until we found the detour!

They usually come out for about 15 to 20mins warm-up and head back into the rooms for a while and then re-appear - usually last two+ hours.

For anyone going - there is an artist that has been paintings the old outbuildings and other aspects of Moorabbin - I suggest you have a chat and see whats he's up to. His name is David Hurwitz
