yep. i'd play him and gram on opposing wing and just encourage them to launch it long all night to our power forwards.

of course he could be. he'd be a champion chb.

but until i actually see it happen i don't believe he will be.

personally i agree with the john kennedy senior philosophy of having his best players forward "because the team that kicks the highest score wins."

i'd consider giving roo a run on the wing (drifting forward) before playing him at chb, but i think his best value to the team is half forward alongside kosi.

So would you say that Max is our worst player because he plays as a full back?

To me the way of thinking of playing your best players forward doesn't make sense, if the best players are all forward who is going to get the ball to them?

I think you're either reading his comment to literally or taking it out of context deliberately.

Roo's more value as an attacking player as opposed to an attacking offender that still needs to be accountable to their man.

where did i say that? we have plenty worse than max.

max plays a specialist position down back better than probably anyone. then again he probably wouldn't cut it as a match-winning forward and it is too late in his career to try to find out.

but i don't think there's much doubt that riewoldt is one of our better players and to me he can hurt the opposition more as a forward than a defender.
