team of champions, not a champion team

thats what my brother, a collingwood fan
has told me for a long time.
and after some efforts of the saints over the time.
i almost agree.
the pies have pendles and daisy thomas as there top draft picks.
you could also add trav cloke (fatherson)

but the pies play good team football, and they are a classy outfit together.
but on paper you look and think, how are they that good.

we have many top 10 picks in our side, but it seems to many egos as well.

we also have to many of the same sort of players

i.e running backs, and running mids
gram
fisher
goddard
x-clarke
montagna
NDS
we only have bally,harvs and hayes to get the hard ball
and we have milney and schniderman to crum up foward
but they pale in comparison to dale thomas, leon davis, and paul medhurst.

what are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that Collingwood aren't much good and are therefore neither a team of champions nor a champion team.

You guys are quick to dismiss this statement. I wish the Saints gave the way Collingwood do. I couldn't hate them more, or love us less but we dont get the job done anymore
