This guy needs big wraps. He just has such a huge heart and has exactly what Voss was talking about in his article.

Could not agree more. Whoever it was in here after the loss last week who said Maxy had gone on one year too many, I hope you are hanging your head.
Classic performance (although it seems the umps forgot about the "over the shoulder" rule in marking contests this week!!)

Like I said in another post.
Max and Rob should read that Michael Voss article to the rest of the team this week and then point some fingers.
Michael Voss is bang on the money.
Max you in my mind are up there with Robert Harvey.
A great Saints man

StKilda people don't underate him.
The only times I've seen him struggle and lower his coluors were 2 games against Neitz. One time Neitz was pillung goals out of his arese from 50m out , ant the other time Max had just come back from injury and wasn't fully fit.
He always stitches up the so-called top Forwards like Fevola and Lloyd.
Do , or Do not , There is no try.

Best best on ground display we've had this year. This guy is just a champ at spoiling, one of the best in the game. A brilliant amount of courage and work ethic.

Max BOG. No free kicks given against him and Lloyd no goals. Max is bigger than Lloyd's shorts and that's saying something.

Lloyd got absolutely toweled by Max tonight. One of his spoils in particular, when Lloyd was on the lead was simply outstanding. Close to our best tonight.
Trust the Midas Touch

if the AA was serious, he would be easily number 1 at the moment
just because he doesn't have the extravegant skills, he continually gets looked over

He would be leading our B&F along with Lenny.
How good was it when pretty boy missed his charity free in the last giving Maxy a CLEAN SHEET !!!!!!
Still our best defender.
Good one Max.

We missed Max last night.
I'm guessing he would have shadowed richo and reduced his influence on the game.
Why was Max a late withdrawl?
