Pretty tough one, should probably go in the oppo teams forum...
For mine it would probably be Ablett, keep him 50/50 between the midfield and forward flank, however the 21 year old Buddy would be nice...

ah yeh i didnt even think of fevola.
very good choice. aslong as he can be true to his word about the drinking.
the difference between buddy/fevola and our forwards is that they dont miss many in close and they can kick the outside 50 goals that seem non existent these days for us

that said i would rather judd than any other midfielder. he is playing brilliantly at the moment and he musnt be any where near his potential this year yet.Saint Corin wrote:Ablett
While Franklin is tempting. Between Fraser, Kosi, Roo, Charlie, Allen we have enough tall timber to kick goals. While Franklin is a freak, maybe more consistant that all of the above, Ablett would add more.

when black gets the ball the rest of the field seems to slow down.Saint Mik wrote:Thursday night selections before the grand final
The first bloke to go up on the board to help us win the grand final is
Robert Harvey![]()
From another club mine would be Judd if fully fit otherwise Ablett or S.Black would also be handy on the day.
i was at the gabba for the lions vs pies game and he was just a freak

geeeze there is some real buddy love in here .... hes hit a purple patch at the moment and good luck to him but i dont think hes the be all to end all (maybe cause ive seen him in his WAFL days where he went from dud to hero in a matter of weeks
for mine i would think going into a G/F theres only soo much a forward can do to win the game generally its won in the centre so i would have to say Abblet , Kerr , Judd, Bartell would be my choices with maybe a Ling its always handy to have a shut down player who gets the ball himeslf and hurts the opersition with his possessions

A quick, classy, skillful midfielder would be nice. Ablett or Kerr would fit the bill nicley for mine. Wouldnt mind having Robert Murphy either, ive always admired his work

Why would we need Scarlett or Glass? Right now Max is in better form than both of them.not the best players but the ones we need most
Scarlett/Glass
we need anther defend, Max is playing great and the thing about him he can play small or tall so their will always be a place for him.
