Expect attacking football this week...

Post: # 558698Post Sainter_4_life »

After all the press this week about or gameplan, the match committee looks to have flagged an attacking style of footy this week with the inclusions of forwards Gehrig and Schneider, whilst keeping C.Gardner in the side.

Obviously alot of forward line Options with (Kosi, Roo, G-Train, Milne, Schneider, C.Gardner + rotating midfielders)

Just remains to be seen whether they will get in each others way and crowd the space inside 50.

And yet hasn't solved the riddle of how to get the ball to them effectively.

wouldn't be in the least surprised to see riewoldt running up and down the wing.

richo's been playing that position beautifully for the tigers and has found a new lease of life released from the shackles of playing forward for a while.

And when Foley, Brown and Deledio rip us apart this week, and their Riewoldt kicks more goals than ours, what will we say?

I'd be happy with a win, regardless of the margin 8-)

This is definitely a danger game as Richmond are proving that they're starting to be pretty competetive.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the named players don't play.

I expect to win this game but so what?

How much if we win by 10 goals do you read into that really? - if so that tells me Richmond are still suspect and that we are true flat track bullies that need the media to pump up our tyres.

Give me a win the week later over Collingwood and you find out a little more.

Yeah I will take any win...but I reckon this sides lost a little of its "on-paper aura" for mine and the only thin getting that back is some consistently good form and some wins against some genuione opposition that are rated so.

Should we drop this game there will be blood on the moon.

ur points valid but I'd just add that i'd be rapt we can put a side away (any side) and that we've gotten a % booster for once

Attacking football?

I've seen it once in 28 games.

What on earth would give me the expectation that I'll see it for a second time?

We will kick no more than 14 goals

Attacking football. Oh, the humour of some...
