5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

Another win this week is on the cards. We play the dome better than they do.
Woo Hoo!
Hey Mr goalpost !!

Are you praying for a "bash fest" between Dawks & Swines tonight   !!

Now we just need Hodge, Mitchell, Crawford and Buddy to have brain fades tonight. Maybe Roughead too.

Not religously... but yes! :)
Swines wont put in much agro after Halls telling off... so we can only hope the Hawks intsigate an all out brawl.
Isn't it tomorrow?

Unless they're going out on a hugfest tonite....

well roos beat them twice in a row now including the semi final last year so you cant put it down to an "off day". they are good but
beatable. geelong have a premiership to their name. hawks dont.

anyway its not the point of the post. point is suddenly 6th is a real possibility. we have no injuries. last week 8th was an aspiration. Lions and Crows are struggling and Burton is out for the season.

So things have changed dramatically this week.

We actually match up ok against the Hawks - right across the ground. In my view Jason Blake has actually added another cog to an area I feared we were going to be deficient in. Our defence. Blake is doing a terrfific job taking key opposition forwards. This is enabling us to keep Sam Fisher free to do what he does best - run. So, Max on Franklin (don't flirt with form, Max is in top form. So give him Buddy). Roughead goes to Blake in my view. Leaves Gilbert to take Williams. Has the pace, and being taller will outmark him. Through midfield we match up ok there to. Remember that the Hawks are not overly quick through there. And we can and should exploit there suspect defence with our now in-form big forwards. Add a dominat ruck into the equation and I think we can beat Hawthorrn. Big game at the Dome. Oh, and they don't play the Dome as well as they do the G' and Launceston.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.
