Maybe the coach is doing his job & the players are understanding what he is trying to get them to do.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was understanding what needs to happen a bit better.

Heard Mcveigh from swans talk on SEN a few weeks back on how hard it was for him to get a defensive side to his game but still stay attacking. Pretty much said took a few seasons to get used to it as he focused on defensive part first and attacking part was lacking. Comes from being the one of the best in the junior ranks etc so never really having to be accountable because other teams were always looking to shut him down.

Made me think how many of the kids straight out of the draft have had to play accountable football before. If RL bought this with him then really we prob hitting our straps now eg Dal.

It is the combination of accountability and attacking that we seem to have spot on at the moment.

Ross finally took ownership of the team.

Players respond to leadership.

We're now playing the brand of footy that the members and supporters want to see: tough, skillful and attacking.

Maybe RL threatened to pull a Homer Simpson. Just thinking of that episode where Homer was the football coach... "you're cut, you're cut..." :P

confidence

have said that all along

you need a belief in the game plan and yourselves, but a few goals and confidence is a great thing.
