staker
sorry if this has already been talked about
however in the 2nd quarter who was playing on staker
it seemed fairly obvious that he was keeping them in the game and was running brilliantly through the middle
I kept yelling at the tv, who is on him?

That would've been Dal Santo.
Staker could have had both legs amputated and he still would've ran away from Dal, as Dal wasn't interested in manning up or chasing!!!
I'd say RL must've given Dal a fair serve at half time as he came out with a different attitude, all too late as the damage was done.
Staker and the Eagles already had their tails up..

in my mind this cost us the game
staker was playing like nick r the last two weeks
he lay down the gauntlet to his team mates "follow me and we'll be ok"
it made all his team mates run faster, run taller and play harder because they could see a belief
I understand dal may not be the best chaser so why not put gilbert on him or someone who can run.
no point in trying to teach dal a message or prove a point the damage was done by half time
we had given a team with no confidence and no belief a sense and belief that something was possible

Staker was this years Metropolis.
Every year it seems like that over there that some WC GOP stand up and turns the game against us.
This in part of course comes from not paying each and every opponent due respect.
Lynch was also largely ingnore late in the game.
