So beat roos, then travel to adelaide - if we win we meet (probably)hawks then cats.

so need an upset in the semis to book a very winnable game v hawks.

Despite playing like a 9 to 12 team we have a chance to give harvs another shot at the GF!

finals footy is a differant game altogether who knows what can happen comme september the only thig that is definate is if you finish 9th you have no chance the rest is how you go on the day

Unlikely we're going to make any impact in the finals if we sneak in. You need to play at 3,maybe 4 quarters of champagne footy to win a final. We haven't put more than 2 together all year.
However if we happen to pull everything out on the day and things go our way we can win a final,if that happens 3 times in a row we're in the GF ....unlikely,but everyone but Geelong are beatable by us on the day.

Then we play Geelong.....any scientists out there?? Surely we could introduce some major flu into the vents at Kadinia Parks clubrooms....

One things for sure, as I stated with a minority few , after our disasterous loss to Brisbane when many were calling for the tank as our finals quest looked hopeless.....footys a funny game and you never know...win a few we could sneak into the 8 cos the major contenders for spots 4-8 all play oneanother in a variety of combinations, chuck in a relative injury period for us and a few opposition stars out...and you never know!!

Well all that seems to have come to pass and we are STILL in with a show
SO with footy and the Saints in particular...you JUST NEVER KNOW...

The funny thing is, the top sides on form aren't all in the Top 8.

Geelong, North Melb and Adelaide are the only clear "in form" sides at the moment.

So having to play anyone else in the finals is not a hard ask with the way a lot of sides are playing, provided we play well of course.

This week will be a good test for us.
