HI has any one got a torrent from todays game. i was working all day and wouldnt mind watching our fabulous win. i work in adelaide and i tell you i was sticking it up every crows supporter that came in to my store. lol might have a few customer complaints tomorow!!

The atmosphere was amazing!!

Put simply -

It's file-sharing.

By googling, you locate the torrent you want (this will exist as a long address within a torrent website) and drag it into your client, or 'torrent-download-program'. I'm a MAC user and I use TRANSMISSION as my client. BIT-TORNADO is an example of a PC based client. And hey presto - the file will begin to download.

The system relies on 'seeding', i.e. the amount of people file-sharing over the networked computers. The more seeders, the greater the download speed.

Some worry about privacy issues. For mine its not a huge concern, however I wouldn't be accessing torrents on the computer that you have your home-made porn on.

The other option is Bigpond Footy TV.

You don;t have to be a Bigpond subscriber, just have to have a reasonably fast Internet connection and healthy data download allowance from your provider.

Footy TV will undoubtedly screen the Saints match sometime tomorrow. I'll post when details available. Right now, Collingwood/Freo match is on.

I would suggest for legal reasons, that there is no direct link to the torrent from here.

AFL are very protective of their copyright.

Acrossthetasman.com which is a board for finding torrents of Australian sports will not post direct links to files for AFL games for this reason.

So if you do find a torrent just say you can find it at:

I think you're missing the point.

The authorities can see what you're downloading and seeding. So if you're using bit-torrent file sharing to download pirated TV, you could be at risk of getting caught.

If you're worried, try Peer Guardian for PC or Moblock for Linux and Mac.
