Could have been a bit more in-depth about the Thomas years IMO. Would have been interesting to hear his take one the captaincy when it was taken off him. Would much prefer to know that than where Voss, Hird and Buckley rank in his mind.

Winmar, Loewe, Burke, Barker, Lockett ect.

Lockett was head and shoulders above everyone else, said if he played in a better side he would have kicked 1500 goals.

Said his skill level was amazing.

Gotta love hearing him say all this.
i agree with him. lockett at his peak was awesome and remains the best i've seen from any side in any era.

Anyone else think Sheahan was about to be shown the door when he kept pressing the players revolt thing and as for wasting the precious time on who was better, you, Voss, Buckley or Hird - as if Harves is going to say Me and as for the others - who gives a flying continental!!

It seemed like a poor interview - great to watch Harvey but had me swearing at Sheahan - It was seriously like getting an interview with the Queen and asking her what her corgis had for lunch!!!!

Shame Mike Shame

I have done better interviews with Harves just chatting with him for half an hour at his shop - lol - questions like:
- the young talent coming through - will you take a special interest in their development?
- you are a private man - but you show intense desire to reach those in the community - will outreach and coaching of juniours be a priority for you now you have retired?
- do you see yourself back at the Saints in a training or mentoring capacity in the near future?
- Trevor Barker and yourself are the two favourite sons at St Kilda - have you been approached to have a perpetual trophy for say the most 'team oreientated paalyer' struck in your honour?
- But most importantly - Why now? [Fifth on the Saintsational Medal and still fit enough to teach the younger midfielders a thing or two]
- And for me not enough hero worship in his voice - lol - Sheahan should have been sitting on the floor cross legged before the Great Man

I actually felt he was almost uncomfortable in the role of interviewer in this style.

would have been a monty for Clinton G ( RIP)

Harves himself was very comfortable which just reinforced to me that he is doing this on HIS terms with just the one little regret.

most interviewers don't know how to ask questions.

they ask questions which have obvious answers. ask coled questions ie only needs a reply of yes or no.they don't often ask why on anything, or ask how they feel about something without supplying the answer first. it gets annoying at times.

But it was Robert Harvey he was interviewing - the guy is so easy to talk to and is so open with his responses - Pathetic interview - Great subject

Agree with Dad completely.

Not worth watching, except it was Harves.

At the risk of being burnt at the stake, Harves isn't a great interview subject - at least when asked the usual, expected questions.
But when he lets his guard down, as shown at the very end when he was talking about bowling Damien Martyn out, beautiful stuff. That few second snippet told us more about the man than anything else in the interview.

If you ask him dumb questions - you will note he answers with a smirk and even gave SHeahan a warning saying he was very angry about the mutiny allegations, the swine just kept pushing the point - ask the question, get a warning and move on - move on to stuff he wants to talk about - thats the trick to interviewing.

My son would have done better - coz he would have asked the questions we want to know - and he would have actually listened to Harves response.

rapidshare can be a pain in the ass the first time u have to use it, what with all the extracting and all that crap.
if u have a prem rapidshare account, or a pirate one it makes it a bit easier.
i havent used rapidshare for a while now.
torrents are just easier.

so.....any progress?
other wise ill post someone five bucks and they can mail me a copy :D
