So should be a much bigger crowd that the Cats game...which from memory was 55,000 at 5pm Friday.

The MCG are predicting 80,000 and they're usually pretty close to the mark.
EDIT: Just checked it and they're estimating 80k not 83K

They were miles off for the Cats game where they estimated 84K and it got a lousy 71K!JeffDunne wrote:The MCG are predicting 80,000 and they're usually pretty close to the mark.

I think they generally do the estimate once only at the start of the week, so it's a bit like the weather....forecasts keep changing!!!
Unfortunately I reckon a lot of Saints supporters have forgotten this could be Harv's last game....either that or they are too disrespectful not to fork out the 50 odd bucks to go.
76k in end.. dissapointing after good pre-sales and a perfect day weather wise ??
I think its quite simple - overpriced finals tickets ... $200 for a typical family to go to a semi ..
Next week even worse .. $80 or something ?? Be suprised if there is more than 60k ..
Same reason Adelaide game was far from a sellout last week - to say nothing about the Sydney crowd ..

agreed
understand the higher prices for say the grand final but for a semi? Not everyone can afford $80 - 100 this week.
